Thanks for the e-mail and photos. Responding to our customers' requests is never an annoyance. I understand your concerns about the impact of the fence and the Village's enforcement efforts. As you know, I am responsible for the Village's code enforcement efforts on this issue and will continue to respond to your concerns.

The Village team made our decision based on the facts and circumstances that existed at the time. I will again gather the Village team to discuss our enforcement efforts for this case. I should have a response back to you by the end of the week.

The Village code compliance team met to review this issue. We have determined that the fence is in violation of the Village Code and should be removed. In the next few days, we will be sending a compliance letter to the owner.
